Three different motion states of the grinding ball during dry ball mill grinding
The ball mill has a simple structure, wide applicability, and convenient operation, and is welcomed by many users in the ball mill. The ball mill adopts a roller ball mill tank, and the tank is filled with grinding balls of different sizes, the loading amount is 1 / 4-1 / 2 of the effective capacity of the ball mill tank.
When grinding a dry ball mill, when the filling rate of the grinding ball is within a reasonable range and the roller ball mill is operated at different speeds, the grinding ball may appear in three basic motion states in the tank.

2, "falling state". The rotation speed is too low, and the grinding ball and the material slide down from the rotation of the tank wall to 30 ° -50 °. Although there is some grinding effect on the material, there is no impact collision, and the grinding energy is small, resulting in poor grinding efficiency.
3. "Throwing state". Appropriate speed of the dry ball mill, under the combined action of centrifugal force and friction force, the grinding ball moves along with the tank wall to the corresponding height, then leaves the tank wall and falls freely along a parabolic trajectory. The falling grinding balls collide and grind the material, crushing the material.
