What is the difference between a dry ball mill and a wet ball mill?
The dry ball mill is a cylindrical rotating equipment, and the outside is driven along a gear. It is a two-chamber, square-shaped wet ball mill. According to the feeding equipment, the hollow shaft of the feeding raw materials enters the first room of the ball mill. The feeding room has a ladder-shaped lining or a wave-shaped lining, and bearing steel balls of different specifications and models. After the material is coarsely ground in the first silo, the material enters the second silo through the single-layer silo board, which is lined with a flat steel lining board. The powder is discharged through the discharge furnace to complete the grinding.
The principle of wet ball mill is basically the same as that of dry and wet ball mill. The amount of water added is generally determined by the main purpose of the mud, the amount of clay in the secret recipe, and the size of the clay's moisture absorption value. The raw materials are slowly crushed under the effects of impact and polishing. The crushed ore is discharged from the barrel through the discharge part. After the minerals discharged by the spiral classifier are classified by qualified products, the coarse sand is returned to the ball mill through the feeder to continue grinding. The feeder feeds uniformly and continuously, the ore enters the ball mill through the feeder, and the crushed material is continuously volleyball milled.
